We arrived on Prince Edward Island via a ferry and, as you disembark it, look to the right where there is one of 63 lighthouses. Many that we saw were somewhat similar to this one. Also, the coast is mostly red sand.
We took a trip alone the Eastern Coastal Route. PEI is a farming province. Potatoes, corn, strawberries, and a few vineyards are what is prevalent. Potatoes rule on PEI!
We stopped in Georgetown for one of the best lunches. Linda had Haddock and I had the very best Bread Pudding. Yes, we did share it. We went to a memorial garden, which was in honor of loved ones of individuals. We do not know how it is maintained. I do know that it was very serene.
We headed out for Souris, PEI, where there is one of the beaches with white sand, not the red sand. Pictures to follow tomorrow.

I love the light house! Where are the pictures of the red sand?
