March27, 2019

We had a wonderful time having Linda's brother Larry and his wife Kathy with us for a long weekend.

On Monday, we went to Highlands, NC, which was a rainy day, but that did not stop us from looking in some shops that were open, especially Kilwins, an Ice Cream shop...

As always, I had to make stops at some waterfalls; Bridal Falls, with Linda, Kathy, and Larry, Cullasaja Falls, a mini falls, which is above Cullasaja, and the remainder are of Dry Falls.

These falls are on State Route 64 between Highlands and Franklin, NC

March 23, 2019

I had some extra time at the Atlanta airport, so it was up to the top level of the parking garage to take some pictures. I have to admit that I was somewhat intimidate when Security came walking my way. My camera was so obvious. I asked them if I could take pictures of the airplanes and they said, 'Yes,' to my relief.

Do I look like a terrorist?

I definitely doctored the first picture as you can see from the second picture, which is straight out of the camera.

The last four pictures are of the new roof over the traffic lanes between the parking garage and the terminal. No problem of getting wet when dropping off or picking up in front of the terminal.

It kind of reminds me of some giant, creeping worm...

These pictures are on one of the ponds at Gibbs Garden.  Apart from the Gazebo on a peninsula, they are of the pond's dam from different vantage points.

Spring has to be around the corner.  Gibbs Gardens is open and the daffodils are blooming.

These are a few of the two million daffodils that are there and the first to bloom.  Others will be blooming soon.
