You have heard of the 'Good News - Bad News' quip...  My good news is that I took pictures of Lunenburg on our last day there and the bad news is that I accidentally (my term for really making a mistake) deleted them.

More (better) good news - bad news.  Obviously, they are not included today.  That is the bad news.  The good news is that there is some software that can, supposedly, recover the lost data.  I am going to try it on my old Macbook when I return home.  If I am lucky, there may be a sequel to Lunenburg.

The first picture is the Bluenose Inn, where we stayed. The following are some of the buildings in the center of town, many of which chose the colors from a Crayon Box and the architecture is quite eklectic.

The remaining pictures are from the waterfront area.  Note the different reds on the second picture of the panorama.  The bright red building was painted about two years ago and the faded red buildings about three years ago.  The effects of ocean waterfront living.  Also, the last two pictures of the schooners.  The one in the water is the Theresa E. Connor and the model is the Bluenose II, which is the icon here.  Google them for interesting information.

  1. These colorful structures remind me of some of the quaint little towns in Europe that you visited! Glad you're enjoying your extended 50th wedding anniversary celebration with a another fun celebration yet to come!
