September 4, 2019

We went to Ellijay on Monday and ate at our favorite restaurant there, Canterberry's.  Then it was on to Mack Aaron's Apple House to get some Honey Crisp apples.  From there, we traveled the back roads to Long Creek Falls in Blue Ridge.  The last 5 miles was on a very bumpy dirt road at 10 miles per hour.

The trail to the falls was, for the most part, easy, but the closer you got to the falls, it became more inclined and 'rooty."  It was about one mile in and one mile out, but going out was down hill, which is best, in our opinion.

  2. It is a 'twofer.' We get to enjoy the beauty and the uniqueness of the waterfalls and the exercise hiking to them.
"But wait!!!" As Billy May used to say, "There's more." We get to enjoy our time together.
