On our trip back to Halifax from PEI, we had some extra time and took a detour to Truro, NS. One of the main attractions is Victoria Park that is in the city.
More than 130 years old, Victoria Park is a 3,000-acre treasure. The beautiful and dynamic urban park boasts
incredible natural features, including a dramatic steep-sided gorge, a
winding river, cascading waterfalls, and a stately old-growth Eastern
Hemlock forest. There is even an heated outdoor swimming pool on the playground area.
We stopped to see the waterfalls, but the hiking trails look daunting. Jacob's Ladder has 170 steps to ascend and there are many more along the different trails. We had one such 'ladder' on our hike to the falls.

More amazing pictures! I especially love the water fall pics... Looks like you had a great trip!!
