We traveled the scenic route from Peggy's Cove to Lunenburg and stopped in Mahomes Bay. The architecture in Mahomes Bay and Lunenburg is a mixture of Gothic and Classic Revival and Italianate, along with standard Nova Scotia.

The pictures of the the "Three Churches," in order, are St. James Anglican church, St. John Lutheran Church and Trinity United Church of Canada.

Three points of interest... First, the Trinity United Church of Canada was drawn there, from its original location, by oxen. Secondly, if I were to name the churches, I would name them after the Apostle Paul; St. Paul Anglican Church, St. Paul Lutheran Church, and St. Paul Trinity United Church of Canada. I can picture the discussions and speculations...

Lastly, did you notice the B&B with the chairs in front? The lawn is raise all around the house. This was done to protect the basement of the house. Not only did it keep the elements out but also the varmints.
