Went to the Coffee Lodge at church this morning and while I was waiting for the others to arrive, Dave Ceraso came in and asked if I had my camera with me.  That is like saying, "Is Tom Brady the best quarterback?"

Well, lo and behold... there was a helicopter parked in the parking lot on the other side of the church.

It is a 1959 Sikorsy S-58 helicopter, which the Air Force designated as an H-34 Choctaw.  The pilot was from Rhode Island and loved seeing me wearing a New England Patriots hat.  

They were lifting large air conditioning unit onto the high roof of the church.  Believe is or not, it is more cost efficient to use a helicopter than very large cranes due to the weight and the reach needed to put the units in place.  The last picture is of the rotor gear, which is very impressive.
