Happy New Year!
Today
is the first day of the new year and the last day of my vacation. I
did not usher it in, but it did start as usual between 4-5:00 am. This
year started just as the last year ended.
I
have been doing some photo processing in the hope to develop a "fine art"
style, which I plan to be fitting to the photo. The photo used today is
of a window at Pickity Place in Mason, New Hampshire, which is one of
Linda's favorite places.
The following is from their website:
www.pickityplace.com
"Since 1786 our quaint little red cottage has graced the hills of
southern New Hampshire, seemingly untouched by time. The enchanting
cottage was chosen by Elizabeth Orton Jones as the model for her
illustrations in Little Red Riding Hood (Little Golden Books, 1948).
Today it is a mecca for gardeners, foodies and anyone looking for
inspiration and relaxation."
The first picture is 'out of the camera" and the others are different renditions.

I love that place! These variations of the picture are interesting... they look more and more like painting in each option.
